This is a recipe I created from the combination of these two recipes:
https://pipandebby.com/pip-ebby/homemade-bbq-sauce/#recipe
https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/51226/a-very-popular-bbq-sauce/
I found a sweet and smokey bbq sauce that I loved the flavor of when I took ingredients from both of these and made my own measurements for them.
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups Ketchup (I buy mine in bulk: https://www.azurestandard.com/shop/product/food/condiments/ketchup/ketchup-organic/15738?package=CO464&a_aid=11fadc444e )
1 cup Brown Sugar (I make mine: recipe here)
1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
2 tbsp Maple Syrup or Honey
4 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 tsp Dried Brown Mustard seeds (ground using mortar & pestle)
2 tsp Paprika
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
1 tsp Chili Powder
3 drops of Liquid Smoke (optional)
Place all ingredients in a sauce pan on medium low heat.
Stir until sugar melts.
Pour in Jar.
Store in Refrigerator.
