Maybe you don’t live in your dream house, but you can make ugly spaces beautiful! What if you are where you are to bring beauty to a place that has been neglected. We have moved A LOT but every place we’ve lived we have had the mindset that we are bringing heaven to Earth by leaving this space more beautiful than we found it. God is the creator of beauty and we are created in His image, so of course we are also made to create beauty around us. And if you look around at popular society and it’s rebellion against all things beautiful, it’s more important now than ever that we as Christians make it our duty to honor God by stewarding the places He has given us well.
It’s easy to fall into the comparison trap, but a way to overcome comparision is by working with your hands. Stop looking at everyone around you are on the screens, and get to work making your space lovely. Close your eyes, what would beauty look like to you in your current space? How can you use the resources you have to create beauty around you right now? Pray and ask God to direct your steps in creating beauty around you. He is faithful! I pray this podcast encourages you!
