Today I shared this video over on Youtube. But I know how it’s easy to lose track of which video shares what, so I’m sharing all the recipes here in a blog post for you to refer back to!
I LOVE these meals, because they are all made from ingredients that I typically have on hand already. AND for the two of us, they always give us leftovers. If you have a bigger family, you can just double or triple the meal and they will be sure to give you leftovers as well. This is how we build our home economy, having a bulk food pantry, where we can then cook from ingredients. This saves our household money AND is so much healthier!
Here are the recipes. I encourage you to write them down in your recipe book because you never know if the blogs will be taken down and you lose the recipe forever.
RECIPES:
Taco Soup: In today’s video, I was craving this soup but didn’t have any chicken so I made it with 1lb of ground beef and 1lb of sausage and it was delicious! It’s also amazing with the chicken!! https://amandacooksandstyles.com/creamy-chicken-taco-soup/#recipe
Salmon Patties: The adjustments I make with this is using oats/ sourdough breadcrumbs/tortilla chips in place of panko breadcrumbs. I also use canned salmon, which are 6 oz cans so I use 3. https://keviniscooking.com/salmon-patties/#wprm-recipe-container-45200
Meatloaf: I didn’t have any Worcestershire sauce, so I used Coconut aminos. This recipe also has the glaze I used on top of meatloaf. https://www.thespruceeats.com/meatloaf-with-oatmeal-recipe-5089174
3 ingredient Potatoes: I learned this recipe from my sister in law and I just eyeball it, but here is a recipe that I found that has all the same ingredients and the measurements: https://simplebites.net/simplest-scalloped-potatoes/
I hope you love these recipes as much as we do!
